    1. Huddersfield SC. Beautiful Lapel Badge and cigarette card to give further detail to the Coat of Arms.
    2. Hello Brian, A great little card. As a child I had many cigarette cards and we all took them for granted. These days thje younger generation would probably stand in amazement at the thought of advertising cigarettes in this way. Another fascinating piece of social history. Many thanks for sharing it. Kind regards, Kevin
    3. Essex SC Lapel Badges in Brass & Chrome and Enamel. KC. Essex War Reserve Lapel Badge in Chrome & Enamel. KC
    4. Hello, A very good question! I have tried to research this particular badge without success. The attached images are those of the Ja Ja Heraldic Card Series depicting Devonshire which replicates exactly that on the Lapel Badgel and the Coat of Arms of the Duke of Devonshire which might assist in placing the bottom right hand shield. Other than that I haven't a clue. I have looked at the arms for key towns etc.. but nothing comes near to the bottom left hand shield.
    5. Hello Ian, Many thanks for the reply. It is nice to hear from you. I trust that you and yours are keeping well? You have raised a point that has confused me for some time Ian. I have seen references to the Cap Badge listed above as belonging to Devon. I have also seen it referred to as Derbyshire. I have checked the PMCC reference section again today at it appears that the badges listed under the two forces are identical. Or is there some difference that I am missing? Can you advise? Did the two forces share a common badge? I have long puzzled over this and finally came down, rightly or wrongly, on the Devon side of the debate. You experience and advice would be most warmly welcomed. Kind regards, Kevin
