    1. Today was the giant fleamarket in Munich on the place where the Oktoberfest is being celebrated. I was on my feet 7 hours and have not seen all. But it was a perfect day. Here is what I got today (only 1 book is missing) : Some photos in more details: Pfarrer Theophil Witzel, Feldgeistlicher der 22. Inf.Div. Back with dedication: ......
    2. I got this photo today on a fleamarket. Could this be a pilot ? Maybe even not a german ? There are no shoulder-boards, only the seam of the leather coat which looks a bit like shoulder boards. He might as well be a civilian pilot. I think the part of the machinery at the left could be something from an airplane. It is a cool photo, anyway. He looks a bit like the young G?ring. (Maybe it is him, who knows ) Maybe any of the aviation enthusiasts can recognize something on that photo. Any comments are welcome, as always. And there is nothing on the back, no date, no name, no place, just nothing. Kind regards Robert
    3. Superb infos , Rick. Thanks a lot !! Didn't know that he was from Munich. Makes it even more interesting for me. Once again, a huge "Thank You" for all Your infos. Kind regards Robert
    4. Another, earlier photo shows him with a child, which I presume is his son, the KC-holder Together with the photos I got this Flight-report booklet dated 1926 It includes a lot of flights on various airplanes: End of photos. As always, I would love to have some more informations about Rudolf Roesch senior. His career in the 1st WW and between the wars. A bit more info about his career in the 3rd Reich and 2nd WW. Many thanks in advance Robert
    5. I got a small (but nice) group of photos of the senior Rudolf Roesch, father of Oberleutnant Rudolf Roesch, KC-holder and Staffelkapit?n of 9. / KG 51. K.I.A. over Nijmegen in 1944. First the photo of the son: Now the father: In the rank of a Major: And a General of the Luftwaffe: ...........
    6. I agree, probably somewhere at the Rhein. Here's the young SS-man, but this is also too blurry for me to make out any number It is a bit strange, this photo looks very clear when seen from a distance, but gets blurry the closer you come. Almost like a "3-D" picture. Anyway, it isn't that important. Thanks for Your efforts. Kind regards Robert
    7. Got a photo today and maybe somebody can help with some names: Now details of the persons in question The place looks like somewhere in Bavaria, mountains and a lake in the background. Also possible is a big river, like the Rhein or the Mosel with hills and steam-ships. The event was for sure a funeral, at least two priests are on the photo. There is no description, no place and no date on the back. Maybe some persons can be identified. The old general sitting at the left has a neck decoration. The soldier with the steel-helmet who looks a bit like von Epp has a Max-Josephs Orden (as far as I can tell that). All spike-helmets seem to be prussian. Thanks a lot in advance for any help. Regards Robert
    8. @ webr55, thanks a lot for these informations about the General. They are very interesting amd very helpful for me. I found out, that at least 5 male persons from the family von Tippelskirch were soldiers, two of them KC-holders, another one sunk with a submarine in 1943. So this info about the Luftwaffen-General fills another gap, perfect ! Probably I will make a CD or DVD with these photos, but it is a lot work to scan them all, even if I only pick out the most interesting ones. That will take some time however. I will let You know when it is available. Thanks for all infos and nice words so far. Kind regards Robert
