Honestly, I don't know. 1332 does correspond to the start of the war in August 1914, so maybe the dating is like the French Croix de Guerre or various bars to some German decorations like the medal of the Saxe-Ernestine Order from Saxe-Coburg & Gotha. I don't have my Turkish reference works at hand.
Dave,
Thanks for checking anyway. I did find this website, maybe you can make some sense of it.

Dave,
What does that mean? Everything I have seen shows this medal being issued in 1915. Please help.

Hello Dean,
your Prince Luitpold medal on the bar is showing the backside.
It has to be mounted showing the Prince.
Regards
AndreasAndreas,
I did not realize it was mounted backwards, thank you.

Dean,
Great little cross. I do not like these (Hindenburgs) as a rule but this version is rare. I own two by different makers. Ralph A. has one also. I turned the first one up a at Summit County gun show for $15! I still like it.
Definitly a smaller cross than the normal one. I'll look for the old thread. It should still be here. Nice obscure find!
CRBeery,
You said you found one at the Berea gun show?

I have never seen one like it. Most likely modified by a jeweler. Regardless, well worth the price IMHO. Great find.
Thanks Paul. I probably will not see another one again.

Hello Dean,
I think you´re right with some sort of servant.
The 2nd is the Goldene Hochzeits - Jubiläumsmedaille and the highlight on 5th
is unfortunately missing it´s the Goldene Ludwigsmedaille für Wissenschaft und Kunst.
Regards
Andreas

Spolei,
Can you explain what you meant by "Please turn the Luitpoldmedal to the frontside.
Which yearfigures shows the bandeau under the crown".I thought I had the medal correctly positioned. I agree that it was a civilian that received this medal bar. Perhaps artist, musician, family friend or loyal servant.

bryansk1959 and Andreas,
After looking closer at the pictures both of you provided, I can now see that the cross I bought has some serious flaws. I can now put it in the fake drawer.
Thank you
Dean
