Sorry about that, I was only making a point.
Here is the first brevet I ever saw for the RPR badge:

I don't have the time to make a resume at this moment, so I will only post the next brevet:
... and hope that Google will do a decent job translating:
Hope we get a little more interest on this topic now. Right , Kev ?

I don`t think that "Sometimes two is better than one!" is fair, because there are several types of RPR academy badges.
Maybe someone could help us out with some pics. I`m so sorry I didn`t snap one when I saw this nice frame with all of the RPR & post commi ones.
(at least the retired officer that was selling them at the Brasov trade said it was complete).

It seems odd that only the ID is on this diploma; also matching the ID on the ones above.

Hey Greg !
Well I was told that since I first saw it & put it up here.
I don`t know if it helps, but it went for less than US$50, he was asking for $99 I think, long time, and was now stuck for money.

IT IS WITH GREAT SORROW (unless he's among us) THAT I MUST INFORM YOU GENTS
THAT THIS BAR HAS LEFT TO A GUY IN SWEDEN,
FOR LESS THA HALF THE PRICE IT WAS LISTED ON EBAY
I don`t know if this would necessarily be a Securitate bar, but since it is not mine, I thought I should put it here, just to have a record of it.
I've seen the ribbon of the last piece before, I know it`s for the police, but I do not know what the medal looks like. Anyone ?

Hey ! Just noticed the name matches the diploma Carol I posted above! :jumping:

And the reverse:
Every now and then, the flea market in Timisoara gives me a little incentive, so I don't quit searching

I took a quick look through the thread and didn't spot my latest finding:
Hope I didn't miss it, and it`s something new to the topic

I`ve been looking at similar pins, the design is identical, but the two vertical bars the stand aside the soldier determine the national flag colours.
So you've got that, and some "enamel" , so to speak, over it, that almost doubles the thickness; it's almost like plastic.
Which is why I`ve never been tempted to get one, until I saw this variation. :jumping:

Wooow ! Nice ! Securitate AND National Independence Centenary !
Never seen one of those before.

The fact that it has a serial number makes me think at least of a document.
And if there was a document (that I've never seen) did it link to any of the Medical Merit classes ?

Well.. since this is the topic, I've been meaning to ask this for a while now, but didn't have whom to:
to what does this belong to:
?

Hmm.... very interesting observation; how did I miss that ?
I suppose we can think of a typing mistake, can we not ?
Otherwise I would say the chances of matching the last 2 digits are 1%, right ?
