Hi JC, these photos currently are posted by anohther potential buyer in a chinese collection forum. Some believe this is a easy-to-tell fake, they mentioned the issues as you pointed out already; others like me are positive for authenticity because it mighty be a different variation due to the high S/N.
I saw a Higher Assembly badge from my friend. it might be interesting!

Just got an interesting e-mail from one of the major Ulanbaatar dealers, well known to many of us. He was planning to attend the OMSA meetings in August. But his ability to attend was going to be contingent on his finding enough high-end items to sell at the OMSA to cover his costs. He was not able to find these items and so will not be attending. Thus, the pipeline is dry or nearly so?
Word on research will change things, but until then I fear the deafening silence on this sub-forum reflects the state of the larger game.
That is good news. I guess it may be hard to find high-end items, but the normal ones are still plenty in the market. The most of collectors are not able to afford high-end items. so the prices of normal medals and orders are not likely to go up.

Hi Glen, there were two Polar Stars T2 with SN 635 & 636 in my collection. They are so close to your 638, which is interesting.

The certificate is not a pair of middle chapter did not strike, the security badges
I guess he is saying the middle document and the badge do not match.
actually the middle badge looks great to me even it is a fake. The quality looks good. I am curious to know where these fakes come from?

Hello, I just wanted to see if anyone knows what kind of medalit is.
Back of the medal is hollow and has some chinese encription.[attachmentid=53660]
Hi, I am 99% sure this is a fake because the suspension like this one is definitely a fake! The medal looks like a Mao badge, but Mao badge never has a suspension!
