Congrats Dolf a very nice item indeed.
Well it would be rude not to share so here goes.
Not sure if I wanna keep them both but they sure look good as a pair.

I just can't seem to take nice pictures.....
Anyway Here are my two T1s and some really wonderful district badges.
Both T1s have perfect enamel...kinda hard to tell from the pics though.

I must agree with Dolf... WOW WOW WOW!!!!
I've been drooling and dreaming about this award since I saw it on the dealers site.
A truly amazing piece. A real crown jewel, although I suspect you've got something else that would give it a run....
Just great!!
JC.
ps. I think I might be turning a little green......

Here is the only picture I could find of lieutenant General G.S.Titov who was awarded the Mongolian Hero star in 1961.
Titov was born on Sept 11 1935 in the Altai region, which just happens to border Mongolia. All right a local boy!!!....well almost.
Here are some interesting facts about him and his career.
He is the youngest person to have gone into space at 25 years 11months.
He was the second person to orbit the Earth.
He was the first person to get "space sickness",
and last but not least how many people do you know that have a crater on the moon named after them???
Well Titov has one, albeit on the far side...

Here are some pics of Marshal K.E.Voroshilov sporting his nice collection.
He was awarded the hero star but I'm must be missing something 'cause I don't see it anywhere. He was also awarded 2 orders of Sukhbaatar but they are kinda hard to see.

I translated this page although as you can see it's pretty straightforward.
The header reads "1948 year rate achievment"
The columns read "Month, rate % , signature"

The cover is very hard to read so I've added the whole text, including an as of yet unidentified quote by Stalin.
"техникииг эзэмшсэн шинэ хучин бугдинг шиидвэрдэнэ"

I thought what better way for a new member to say hi than to make a contribution.
So here goes:
This is our (My brother and I collect....collectively) first class Udarnik badge type 1.2 and a rather interesting document.
This document contains a record of the workers productivity over the years '48 to '51,
and by the looks of things he worked his @#$ off!
I've been trying to translate the various texts but I've only had limited success.
