Hi Bob,
As far as I can tell this fellow is not on your list... Good thing in many ways...
I've sent in my request for research and I'm just waiting to hear back from him.. Fingers crossed.
As promised here is the group....
Missing document for the two higher orders, this troubles me too but the seller swears up and down etc. that this came straight from the family. Based on my lengthy dealings with the man I am inclined to believe him and will certainly keep them together in the hope of proof sometime in the future...
Some medals I forgot in the bank but they are the usual anniversary medals etc.I will add more complete pics when I get a chance.
Cheers

What a great piece of the puzzle you've found!!
We should all be thanking you and sending you presents for Christmas....seriously what would you like????
I've been looking for red stars that fall into the known ranges for years and wouldn't you know it I have one outside the range, but still pretty close.
For the last year I've been threatening to post a large documented group that contains a red star awarded to a Mongolian (20 odd awards and docs)but for now I'll just mention the details.
Red star awarded to Tseven Tseren-Ogir serial# 3708782 awarded 12 july 1972.
I wonder if he is on the list?? wink wink...
Great stuff and once I get my scanner, etc. hooked up again I'll make sure to post the group....
Cheers and great stuff!!!

HI Bob,
If you could post or send me some bigger scans I might be able to help. The doc in Post 12 must be relatively important since it has Choibalsan's signature on it...
Cheers

I'd have been an idiot to not buy it at $9.99.
The seller was from Bulgaria and it came from Sofia, but who knows.
Here is a bigger picture of the two gentleman....I know who the man on the right is, but that's about it.
Hope this Helps Ilja.
Cheers
