    1. As many of you know, I love the unusual variants of the EK. That includes the different types of ribbon mountings. If you have something different, or even odd, please post it here. So far, this is the only one I have, a simple parade mount. The EK has been identified as a 75, a maker so far unidentified.

    2. And quite rightly too ! I don't buy into the "Quality vs Quantity" bull that is often spouted by some. I have in the past on occasion traded Knight's Crosses away for interesting groupings of "lesser" items, and would do so again in a heartbeat if the right stuff came along. Of all the pieces I consider my "favourites", the Knight's Crosses I have aren't even in the top ten.

Hmmmm...... Well, you know I might be tempted to trade my little collection for an old beat up RK if you're interested??? biggrin.gif

    3. Ohhh.......

I really like that one. Very nice. That's yet another "I need it" piece for the collection.

I don't understand how some of you guys can collect so many different things. It's going to take me years to get everything I want for the EK's, and I may never be able to get an RK. sad.gif But, I guess that's why they call it collecting.

Anymore of these little beauties out there???

    4. Hello Gordon,

Thanks for your response!! Nice looking set you have there.

Ideally, the "matchbox" type is what I would like to find. Seems they never come up for sale anymore.

Maybe I'll pass on this one and wait for the correct box.

      Thanks much.

BTW, does anyone else have any they would like to show off?? Always love seeing these.

    5. Yes Dave, and you would know!! tongue.gif

      Tony,

I put out the photo of your cross, and so far no hits as to the maker. But if I hear something, I'll let you know straight away.

      BTW Dave,

I love your avatar!! I hope to have one like it some day. smile.gif

    6. Hi Dave,

A bit off topic, but I used to watch the BBC here late Saturday nights.

There were two I enjoyed. One was Keeping Up Appearences, and the other title escapes me, but it was about a female minister that goes to a small village. She was a chunky girl, but very funny I thought.

One other was about a group working in a department store that was pretty funny. And one that is still on I believe about a father and his grown son that live together and their anttics.

And of course Benny Hill. smile.gif Do you folks watch much American TV?? I don't watch much TV anymore, and I particularly HATE reality TV. I guess because of my job I like stuff along the lines of Law and Order, and CSI. I really enjoy Star Trek, but they are taking it off the air this year.

Oh well, back to the History Channel !! (Where TV is safe)
