    1. Mark,

Exactly why I don't do shows, and as you said, have a few reputable guys I buy from. I quit TR altogether because of reasons you stated.

Back to models... I have several 1/72 armor kits to do, but have not built in a while due to work, kids, etc... I plan to get back into it soon, and even my wife is encouraging me to get back at it. I want to do a few kits to get my skills back up to snuff, then work on my Revell 1/72 U-boot. I also want to do the 1/72 Gato Class US sub when it comes out.

I work with Steve Lawson and will run the idea of a work bench build by him. His aircraft are really outstanding when seen in the flesh. He is also quite an authority on WWII German flyers.

PS - A few of my little beasts:

    2. Hi Guys,

Excellent work. I'm not too worried about the era or the subject. I'm really interested more in the techniques you guys used in painting these little masterpieces.

      Really nice work!!

    3. Wow, nice stuff guys, one and all. Thanks much for posting, and please keep them coming.

Mark and Larry, I think you guys need to give some pointers on painting these small guys. I have literally armies to do and would appreciate any advise.

    4. SWEET............

Can you guys do any along a US theme?? I need a new screen saver. :P

I gotta get some stuff, helmet, a few medals......

      Robert,

Glad you're here. You and Dave can now have a little photo war. And I think Marc and Greg are not going to sit back and watch.

Come on folks...... Don't be shy. With digital, anything is possible.

    5. Jim,

      Thanks.

I also love the Red Banner, one of my favorites (but then again aren't they all?... ;) well, I have a few favorite ones, and that includes at least the Red Banner and the October Revolution).

I guess you mean the Lenin, right? Also among my favorite :P

      Cheers,

      Dolf

      Isn't that what I said...... :P

That's not the first time I've done that. :speechless:

P.S. The power of the edit is wonderful.

    6. Hi Jim,

Don't listen to that!!! Wait till you folks see this man's work!! The photos will speak for themselves.

P.S. I tried to go to another site and hijack a few of your photos to post here, but I can't get in.....
