Very nice.
So do you freehand the pictures or use some sort of template?

28mm Perry figure.
A quick fun paint job, took about 20 minutes. A high ranking hanger on for my future Napoleon's HQ. For size reference he is based on a 3/8" flat washer which is 13/16" or 21mm wide ...not sure how the washer ended up in my pocket,
He represents a high ranking officer from the "2e régiment de chevau-légers lanciers de la Garde Impériale (2nd regiment of light cavalry lancers of the Imperial Guard), also known as the Lanciers Rouges (Red Lancers), they were a light cavalry lancer regiment in Napoleon I's Imperial Guard. They were formed in 1810, after the Kingdom of Holland was annexed by France, but their original purpose was to serve as hussars of the Dutch Royal Guard.

Sorry about the late post....took a while to get this.
My cousin 3 times removed, from my Fathers side, I'm sure there is history on Mom's side as she was Belgian, lost touch with her side of the family over the years......

According to the pictures he is an infantryman! Was he a Doctor after the war?

Very nice. It's more ornate than the ones I have. Both to the same person. These are, as far as I can find out for civilian Beamter as opposed to the HV Beamter.

I think it would be very hard to say what it's originality is without some kind of makers/jewlers marks to start looking.......

Boards. Not sure if the green piping was removed or not. There is no evidence of left over thread or holes that I can see.

Sweet work.
The Wehrmacht issue canteen was .8l, however a 1l canteen issued to Gebirgsjäger troops, wonder if Austria did the same.......

Thanks Colin
Fine pointy tips and most brushes are between 0 - 3 with a back up squad of 10-0's for the small work that and 4.5 powered reading glasses......been doing "Braille scale" for years, always liked building armies. Started as a kid with the Airfix Nappy figures, Romans, and ACW with the Indians thrown in for good measure.....more playing than painting in those days
