Hi Jock
This is a veterans organization, correct?
If so, why would most of those pages be empty?

I have a collection of stamps as well. Not very big and just a collection of world stamps. As Norman stated a piece of history and some very nice images and themes to collect.

The Staatlicher Aufbaulehrgang was a programme designed to prepare suitable candidates for teacher-training at higher training colleges (Hochschulen der Lehrerbildung) and the pupils spent 4 years at the school with the aim of achieving the 'Abitur' (educational standard which was a prerequisite for university attendance). The school in Mehlsack was originally designated as 'Staatlicher Aufbaulehrgang Ermland' and was housed in a part of the monastery in Mehlsack from 1.4.1938.
Hope it helps

To see the power of a metal detector, read "Quest for the Lost Roman Legions: Discovering the Varus Battlefield" by Tony Clunn. Clunn alternates between his incredible modern quest, and the ancient tale of the Roman occupation of Germany (based upon actual finds from the battlefield) that ultimately ended so tragically in the peat bogs of Kalkriese.

Welcome back. Very nice collection Windu. I would be interested in hearing more about the grouping you posted.
Note: the Grand Star and sash there, the Bintang RI Pratama (Bintang RI 4th class) is one of only two Bintang RI Pratama ever awarded.
Are you saying that is one of the 2 awarded? Do you know who it belonged too?
Thanks for posting
Sincerely

Except for the 3rd Division -which could be a color issue - the Division patches are consistent with Canadian tradition going back to WW1. 3rd Cdn Div has traditional had a "French Grey" patch:

KStN 21 (1.11.1941) http://www.wwiidaybyday.com/ shows a Gerätwart (Drogist) (zugl.Kw.Beifahr.), as part of the " IVb (zugl.Divisionsarzt)". Would this be filled by an Apotheker?
Thanks for your time

Dear gentlemen, is it possible to acquire rang lists by having them sent to an e-mail?
Hello
Send me your email address and I Will try to send you a copy.
I received it in large packets and they are apparently too large for my email server to send. Also I am not overly computer savey and seem unable to remedy the situation,
Sincerely
Larry
