Gary Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 It must have been common practice to repair a broken post with a nail.I saw the same repair on a RAD buckle with a leather tab.Gary
--dj--Joe Posted August 20, 2006 Author Posted August 20, 2006 Thank you Sir, I was hoping to hear of or see others with equivelent repairs.--dj--Joe
lach470 Posted August 20, 2006 Posted August 20, 2006 Hey Joe! I think Gary was refering to mine which I sold about 2 weeks ago. It was also repaired in the same manner. You have a nice buckle there....I have one that is soooo salty, I should try to find another but I like it.Here's a pic of the RAD buckle I had....but since sold....sorry that I have only this one pic but you can clearly see the head of the nail on the bottom of the prong bar.Cheers...Rob[attachmentid=50791]
