Participants include:COL BrauchitschMAJ von ApellMAJ Mattenklott (1st DIV)Rittmeister Seyffardt (KAV. DIV)Hauptmann Kauffmann (5th & 6th DIV)It has plenty of signatures etc...Is there any interest in things like this? I can read quite a bit because it is typed for the most part. There are hand written notes on the backs of some docs.Any of these guys go on to be famous?thanks

Taken prisoner as CO 348 Inf Div September 1944, KCIC and GCiG.Walther von Brauchitsch (1881-1948) was Generalfeldmarschall 19.7.40 and Oberbefehslahber of the Army 1938 until relieved by Hitler in 1941. KCICGeorg von Apell (1884-1945) made Generalleutnant 1.6.38 but was placed on F?hrer Reserve 6.8.40-- maybe because of ill health?Franz Mattenklott (1884-1954) General der Infanterie 1.10.41, KCIC, Commander of XXXXII Armeekorps 1942-44 (Crimea).Gerhard Kauffmann (1887, alive 1958) Generalleutnant 1.4.41, KCIC, Commander 256 Inf Div 1940-42, retired (?!) in 1943.

Paul Seyffardt died on 20.Sep. 1979;Gen.Lt. Gerhard Kauffmann was placed into Fuehrerreserve O.K.H. 12.Jan. 1942 because of a clash with A.Hitler and retired 30.Sep.1943 Gen. Kauffmann died on 16.Jun. 1969 in Berlin.Bernhard H. Holst
