    One of the items in my collection is a rather battered German Cross in Silver which was awarded to Major General Stephen Bulowius in April 1945 when he was Inspector of Land Fortifications South West (Italy). Does anybody have a photo of him at any stage in his career since I would love to put a face to the name.

    He was held in US captivity until 29th September 1947, when he was released. He died on 26 April 1979 in Westerland, Sylt.
