Robert Noss Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 The big "E" is for railway engineers, right ?What about the crown ?Is it possible to name the unit ?Kind regardsRobert
Chip Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 (edited) Robert,K?nigin Elisabeth Garde Grenadier Rgt. Nr.3. Eisenbahner had an "E" with regimental number underneath. The Bavarian regiment had no unit number. No crowns for the Eisenbahn straps. Here are examples of Eisenbahn enlisted man's shoulder straps as worn on the Bluse. Shown are three of the four Prussian regiments and the Bavarian example (without number).Chip Edited September 22, 2006 by Chip
