I saw these images online...  Looks like a one-piece, solid zinc 1939 EK2.

I actually think that some of the crosses on this thread have very nice detailing on their cores? You can see the depth in the oak leaves and numbers. Sure the paint is a little inconsistent and the soldering isn’t fantastic, but they are actually quite nice. I have a few that on the surface look ‘better made’ but their cores certainly are not as detailed
