Pioneren at Conflans

Could somebody tell me what is this group of German soldiers at Conflans doing. I believe they are reparing a bridge.

It is hard to see the small print, but it seems to be saying that they are rebuilding a destroyed bridge.

Yes Chip. That must be it. The German inscription is:

"Conflans - Die von unseren Pionieren wieder hergestellte Br?cke"
