Guest Alan Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 (edited) I've had a boxed WW2 Iron Cross for about fifteen years. I bought it off a guy who thought it was fake because its in too good a condition. I think its OK but the box might be a bit dodgy. The makers mark on the pin is a 6 with a full stop in the right hand corner (6.) Anyone got any idea who the manufacturer was? I have tried to put some phots up but attachment file size is always to big even though ive reduced them to under 70kbs. Edited June 22, 2005 by Alan
Gordon Williamson Posted June 22, 2005 Posted June 22, 2005 The numeral 6. with the dot is for Fritz Zimmermann of Stuttgart. The makers mark sounds just right (presumably in incuse relief ?) Could well be a good one.

I dont collect these, I mainly collect WW1 Allied medals.
