lach470
Hey gang! I have a quick question....I have an early E.Pack Pantherhead sword and I wonder what was used for the panther's eyes. I'm assuming glass but I don't know....could some of these sword manufacturers used semi-precious stones like birthstones (Tourmaline is the official birthstone for October) The eyes are a kind of pink (man, they look good! )Any info would be greatly appreciated. Here is a pic of the pantherhead....Man, when you think how much work went into this!!Thanks guys....Cheers!Rob

mustang
im sure they used just coloured glass, but the pink eyes do ,look nice. ,but on special custom edged weapons then, ivory grips, rubbies and even diamonds used........but on exceptional pieces only.
