Ferg1 Posted February 25, 2007 Posted February 25, 2007 Hi guys, I thought I would run this past you all out there and see if anyone has any ideas or info. I went to a small militaria fair today and fished out a small oval table medal from the dark corner of a dealers case. The medal seemed to be silvered bronze or tombac around 55mm x 35mm .The front shows in fine relief and detail Hermann Gorings coat of arms with 'Reichpresident Hermann Goring' around the edge ,reverse has beautiful engraving which translates roughly as ' For loyalty at Christmas 1935' to Karl Bolle . Then underneath Hermann and his wifes names. As you probably know Karl Bolle was a WW1 fighter ace and in the thirties was an adviser on Luftwaffe matters . Anyone seen one of these or anything like it before? I did not buy it but have the dealers number . Any clues anyone?? Ferg1.
