Imperial German Commerative Beer Glass

Gents,

Happy to report that a good friend of mine has surprised me with an interesting gift. The front of the glass appears to exhibit a hand painted Imperial battle flag and pole. Also, the rim of the glass looks as though it has a hand applied remnants of gold paint and the back of the glass has an etched, "1/4L." Has anyone seen one like this before? It displays well with a pair of my long ribboned EK2's! I look forward to hearing all in the know about this piece.
