Daniel A Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Hello,This is my first posting. My interest in military matters is closely related to my interest in historical modelling. This is probably a little off topic, but I hope you will allow me showing this figure vignete, where the Iron Cross 2nd class features prominently. This is the kind of modelling I do.It is a vignette protraying a couple of paratroopers celebrating their new EKII awards in an Italian Trattoria. It is not intended to represent actual personalities, it was deliberately designed as a generic scene.Figures are major conversions of Elisena's 54 mm German paratrooper and Afrika Korps infantryman, which I did myself; and my friend Jaume Ortiz instilled them life with his brushes.Hope you like it.The original figures, for you to have an idea of the work involved:Any comments welcome.Daniel
Riley1965 Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 Daniel, GREAT JOB!!! Excellent detail!! I do the 1:35 scale military miniatures and I know the amount of concentration it takes to do these right. In the future please post them in the forums military modelling section: http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showforum=118. Doc
