Robert Noss Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 (edited) I got this photo today on a fleamarket.Could this be a pilot ? Maybe even not a german ?There are no shoulder-boards, only the seam of the leather coat which looks a bit like shoulder boards. He might as well be a civilian pilot.I think the part of the machinery at the left could be something from an airplane. It is a cool photo, anyway. He looks a bit like the young G?ring. (Maybe it is him, who knows )Maybe any of the aviation enthusiasts can recognize something on that photo.Any comments are welcome, as always. And there is nothing on the back, no date, no name, no place, just nothing.Kind regardsRobert Edited April 1, 2007 by Robert Noss
Chip Posted April 1, 2007 Posted April 1, 2007 Robert,Your flyer (not G?ring) is a serious looking chap. It is impossible to tell from what he is wearing if he is in the military or not. Officer's often wore white shirts and ties, especially with the Litewka. I think perhaps the only indication would be from whatever that device is that he is leaning on. I am not aircraft specialist, so someone else will have to figure that out.Chip
