US Victory medal

Gents I have never been over here but I was at a garage sale and picked this up along with a couple of Wendell L. Willkie 1940 presidential buttons and a 1933 Baltimore and Ohio RR commerorative coin. I think this is a victory medal from WW1. If not could you set me straight. Thank You and have a nice weekend. Thank you Ed. Other than what I have from my Father, this is my first US piece. The baltimore & Ohio RR 100 year good luck token is my favorite because it has a 1933 wheat penny in the center which is the 100th anniversary. Sorry off-topic. Thanks again. Robert
