Naxos Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 (edited) Thanks David, I wasn't quite sure about the bar (not my collecting area). The bar spans over thirty yearsHardy Edited April 26, 2007 by Naxos
David S Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 (edited) Lots of fake ribbon bars to be had by the unwary .Yours looks like a good one.The China Medal on there is interesting. Here's a couple of mine.Notice one is faded (like yours) the other is not. Edited April 26, 2007 by David S
HeikoGrusdat Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 I don`t know why but I can`t see the first pictures......
Guest Rick Research Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Looks fine to me too. The old Boxer Rebellion draftee veteran should have placed his China Medal AFTER the Hindenburg Cross, but he was in his late 50s by then and not paying attention to regulations. The Feldgrau painted tab back bar itself is left over WW1 stock, occasionally found as late as this still being used up.
HeikoGrusdat Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 absolute ok, not very often seen with only the china medal and then ww1 awards without a long service medal but absolute ok - nice ribbon bar
Naxos Posted April 26, 2007 Author Posted April 26, 2007 Rick, again thank you so much!Heiko, vielen DankHardy
