Oberleutnant Melchior fom a Baden Regiment

I'm looking for any info on a Baden Oberleutnant Melchior - in 1923 promoted to Hauptmann in the 14. Infanterie-Regiment.

Leutnant 29.1.11 Kk

Oberleutnant 18.4.16 G2g

Hauptmann 1.2.23 #3.

Awards: EK1,2, BZ3bX 12.3.15 as Lt in IR 113, ?M3K.

On Staf of IIIrd Bn/ Reichsheer Inf Rgt 14 in 1924, and commanding 12th (MG) Company in that regiment in 1928.

He then disappears. Not in the army in 1939.

from that, the Honor Rank List 1914-18, and Glenn's 2008 discoveries...

here he was in the 12 October 1937 Stellenliste

He STILL vanishes-- but now between October 1937 and January 1939.

(BTW, this now indicates why your three medal bar was denuded of its awards-- he unclipped them for his 1934+ bar. )
