lach470 Posted June 2, 2007 Share Posted June 2, 2007 Hey guys....I've got quite a few HJ's - some hard to find examples included - but this is my first "KH" example. This buckle (exactly like the one pictured on p.501/ Nash) is considered a "transitional" buckle - back in the time when RZM was first introduced and there was a lot of confusion floating around as to how buckles should be marked/stamped.I love this one! Lots and lots of markings: KH (for Koppelschlosshersteller), M4/49 for Steinhauer and Luck, RZM and the St. & L logo!Assumed to be used sometime between 1934 and 1935, after the UE stampings were stopped and before the full out RZM regulations took effect, I really like this example!
