    Not just another HJ buckle

    Recommended Posts

Hey guys....I've got quite a few HJ's - some hard to find examples included - but this is my first "KH" example.

This buckle (exactly like the one pictured on p.501/ Nash) is considered a "transitional" buckle - back in the time when RZM was first introduced and there was a lot of confusion floating around as to how buckles should be marked/stamped.

I love this one! Lots and lots of markings: KH (for Koppelschlosshersteller), M4/49 for Steinhauer and Luck, RZM and the St. & L logo!

Assumed to be used sometime between 1934 and 1935, after the UE stampings were stopped and before the full out RZM regulations took effect, I really like this example!

A welcome addition to the collection!

Here are some pics for you guys!

    Cheers!

    Rob

    Hello lach470,

    very interesting buckle.

I want to ask you if you allow me to take the picture(pos#3) of the "Steinhauer & L?ck" buckle.

I want to show it in a german forum to clear the question of the STh logo.

    Regards student
