    Entirely perfect calligraphy by a careful left handed writer without quirks or flourishes!

    It is addressed to Oberpostinspektor D?umling at the main Post Office building in Munich. Noted by him in red "received 12 March early."

    Sent from occupied Lille 10 March 1915--

    "Dear Herr Oberpostinspektor-- For supplying the new uniform pieces (probably insignia is meant here) I ask you to accept my politest thanks. With me all is as entirely good as possible and I wish only that this card may find you also in the best of health. Entirely true greetings, Your

    An Oberinspektor would have been the equivalent of a senior lieutenant or junior captain, while a Sekret?r was somewhere between a warrant officer and a lieutenant.

    I very much doubt that 21st century mail would reach Munich from Lille in under two days! :speechless1::cheeky:
