Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 (edited) Here is what I have at this point in time, not much but it will grow . I will start with my 2 armbands the first one is a plain 3 piece political one Edited August 30, 2005 by Laurence Strong
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 Next is an Ortsgruppenlieter's (I believe thats the right name) armband
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 My few collar tabs, first is a Gemeinschaftslieter, they are a little salty withh some corrosion from the metal parts.
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 Following that I have a Haupt-Einsatleiter single tab, I bought this back in the very early 90's, it's one of my first piece's
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 An early(I think) style Block -Leaders set of tabs with RZM tag on the back
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 (edited) I am not sure what these one's are, I have been told that they are Judicial and that they are for shirt order, they are smaller than the other one's Ignore this post Edited August 30, 2005 by Laurence Strong
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 (edited) The reverse along with RZM label Edited August 30, 2005 by Laurence Strong
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 I dont know what is going on it says I have an attachment then it wont post it????So here the reverse
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 A Block-leader with gold instead of silver tress, I dont know if that is a different rank
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 These are by far my favorite pair. An SA Standartenfuhrer but I don't know what area it's from, and the oak leaves are RZM stamped
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 The oak leaves, front and rear, I dont remove them anymore and had to dig deep to find this foto
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 Not really cloth but my Party hat eagle
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 A HJ proficiency award in silver
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 Forgot to add this the difference in size between the 2 tabs
Guest Rick Research Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 I've never seen smaller sized tabs like that! I think you must be right! And a tough branch to find, too! I hope I'm wrong, but the Standartenf?hrer tabs are making me have Hollywood Military Hobbies 1970s flashbacks, especially the characteristic wide, shrap diagonal pointed prongs and thick piping. Good night from the coast and I hope you get better news than this by the dawn!
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 (edited) Thanks Rick, I will have to look into those, Anyone else have some info on them? At first I thought that the smaller pair were fakes, btu someone on WAF told me they were for shirt order, maybe someone else has some info on this also. Edited August 30, 2005 by Laurence Strong
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 (edited) I have found out that the Black piping is indicative of a political leader at the Kreis level, that was used till the 4th pattern insignia and uniforms came out in 1939, and the Kreis piping was changed to white. So it has nothing to do with the Judicial system, as I first thought. Edited August 30, 2005 by Laurence Strong
lach470 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 WOW....nice stuff...Other than my armband collection, I don't have any other cloth items. Thanks for showingRob
lach470 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 By the way: I absolutely love your Ortsgruppenlieter's armband....if you ever plan on selling that baby....I'd love to have one like that to add to my armband collection. Beaucoup sweet!Rob
Laurence Strong Posted August 30, 2005 Author Posted August 30, 2005 Thanks Rob. I just got it about a month ago, I have been looking for one for over a year now and found this one for just over $350.00US, which I fiqured was a good deal. Actually I will soon start looking for a Kreis/Reich level, maybe a year from now I will find one to post.
lach470 Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 Real nice.....best of luck...those are not easy finds and can be hard on the pocketbook! Again....love the armband!Rob
