Bundesrepublik 57 U Boat Clasp In Silver

I have just received this 57 version of the U Boat Clasp in Silver. I would say that this is a mid produced piece.

As usual, any comments or observations welcome.

Leaning more towards "late" than "mid" I'd say. Here is the reverse of a "mid" production piece, note that the edges all follow the profile of the edge of the leaf. Later pieces are rounded off and not so well finished.

Thanks for the information. Things like that are very useful as there isn't much reference material out there on the 57 pieces.
