Christian L
Another ribbonbar "Quiz" ... but this time i'm not 100% sure about the solution myself ...So all opinions are welcome!
Guest Rick Research
Well, red with three blue stripes is the Oldenburg Kriegsverdienstmedaille 1916-18.The middle could be Hessian or ....The last one is Oldenburg's "almost everything" ribbon. I don't think a combatant Friedrich August Cross, because of the KVM. Probably some medal or cross of the House Order from before the war?
Christian L
Yes, these where my suggestions as well - something from the houseorder in last position due to the war merit medal ...but if he placed his piece time decorations behind war time stuff, then the middle one should be non oldenburg, as otherwise the oldenburg house order would be in front.so hessen is a good idea - the Ehrenzeichen f?r Kriegsf?hrsorge 1915-1918 or the Kriegsehrenzeichen? And what kind of person would be behind it? (or at least what could be expected ... to get something from oldenburg before the war, during the war and something from hessen - but nothing from prussia ... as i guess that guy would have gotton a red cross medal from prussia if we talk about a medic ...)Christian
