Wood Posted October 21, 2007 Posted October 21, 2007 I was about to put this in the British section when I had a close look at the marks.I presume this one is for donating towards aircraft for use in Finland (Russo/Finnish war)Markings consit of the makers initals "K & E C" a "G" on its side with a sort of feathery crown, a blobby mark that appears to have 3 crowns inside (Sweeden?), a date? letter "S"and 08, or 80 in a rectangle. Any ideas?Regards,Pete

The text 'F?R FINLAND' is in Swedish anyway.Greetings1LTSweden Edited October 22, 2007 by 1LTSweden

Peter J Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Hi Pete,Nice pin you've got there . I managed to dig out this thread for you, also showing another donation-pin. http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/sho...ight=gothenburgI don't have access to my reference-books right now, but the year-mark (O8) is probably 1940, considering the events surrounding this pin.cheersPeter
