I will check which version the 1st clas exapmle I have is. Mine, purchased in 1994, came wityh a narrow black, white and red ribbon as if to be worn araund the neck but from recent evidence this is incorrect - do you have a source for Iraqi ribbon? In addition to this medal I also need ribbon for

Here is a picture of the Wisam al-Jadara first class with the blue back ground, this is the type Saddam Hussein wore on his Medal Bar.

This type was known to have been awarded to 3 or 4 Iraqi Rulers. This type has the Flash cut from the eagles wing and the oil towers so you can see the blue back ground behind the eagle. I would like to learn more about this award and the names of the Iraqi Rulers who were awarded the Order of Merit.
