Here is a little beauty which was attributed to a General Officer, WW1 type, removed from the tunic. A little spice anyone!

Hi very interesting piece. These are as rare as an ashtray on a motorcycle, any real provenance as to authenticity, it looks in mighty fine condition for it's age

No, unfortunately I do not have the General's name it was part of an estate buy in Germany 30 years ago when I got it from a friend. Too late to research it further both the General and my friend are dead so thats all I have. You are right it is one of the finest know examples to exist.
