Von Hindenburg 1914

This brooch is dated 1914. I presume that this brooch could be made as a result of the battle of Tannenberg?

Any info is welcome.

That is a really nice, well-made piece. Is it actually real silver? Any maker marks?

Thank you Rick. The engraving technique reminds me of the engraving of banknotes.

There is no mark, but I presume it is silver.

If you compare the pictures here below, you see all the medals are there!! Possibly the photo served as example for the engraving? Perhaps a specialist can judge what date , when Von Hindenburg got these decorations. I think that my badge not necessarely is from 1914, could be later.
