Colorado Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 (edited) I don't recall having come across Italian insignia and pins in my collecting time until I found these from a Vet estate seller. There was some German pins, buttons and insignia too. Typical GI pickup stuff. So, I assume they are all Italian, but I have not really learned this part of collecting. Thanks in advance. Colorado Posted December 14, 2007 Author Posted December 14, 2007 Back - Sorry about the small photos, I think I have to reduce quality to get to fit in size limits.
Colorado Posted December 14, 2007 Author Posted December 14, 2007 (edited) Close-up - The writing looks French, but is this not a Fasci? Edited December 14, 2007 by Colorado
Colorado Posted December 14, 2007 Author Posted December 14, 2007 Forgot I had one more, a button.Thanks.
Guest Rick Research Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 An Epson scanner will work much better than a camera. Also, fussy background rather than white eats up KB size. The double bladed ax is the badge of the Vichy French regime-- though the Cross of Lorraine and V is the OTHER side. Can't tell what the one in the middle is.I've changed the country in the thread title from Italy to France.
Colorado Posted December 15, 2007 Author Posted December 15, 2007 Thanks Rick, appreciate the move - I normally use a dark background, that could explain it. I will try to see if I can improve and post again. Cheers.
