Guest Rick Research Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 It looks SOMETHING like "Wergner" (NOT Wagner) but the wrinkles are a big problem. You need to FLATTEN that and get rid of all the distracting and obscuring shadows and puckers in the worn woven material.Once again, this is a case where I think a plain old black and white xerox machine may get you better contrast than a scanner will. Try one of those and alter the darkness setting up and down. It seems illogical, but the lesser quality of a xerox machine copy removes the distractions of surface texture that helps "camouflage" what our brains are seeing in realistic viewing.A scanner picks out too much BACKGROUND detail.
