EK 1939 ek spange

Hi all

Could i have your opinions on what i beleive to be a ww2 ek spange.

It is un-marked and looks like it once had a silver wash and has 4 prongs to the reverse i'm not really a collector in this field so have no idea if it is genuine or not thanks for any help.
