The medal is marked DA . 3487 (I know that the 3487 is hes number but what is D. A ? )

D. H R. N. R hmm D H ? I suppose R N R means Royal Navy Reserve ??

Is there any possibility to reserach theese via National Archive?

DA Indicates a Deck Hand enlistment in the Trawler Section of the RNR.

DH is his rate - Deck Hand.

RNR is Royal Nabal Reserve.

RNR records are available on microfiche at the NA but unfortunately not on line.
