The medal is marked DA . 3487 (I know that the 3487 is hes number but what is D. A ? ) A. P Watson (name no problem there) D. H R. N. R hmm D H ? I suppose R N R means Royal Navy Reserve ?? Ralph Posted January 3, 2008 Posted January 3, 2008 DA Indicates a Deck Hand enlistment in the Trawler Section of the RNR.DH is his rate - Deck Hand.RNR is Royal Nabal Reserve.RNR records are available on microfiche at the NA but unfortunately not on line.Ralph
