Wood Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 In my opinion this badge has been copied. I cannot tell if this is one.Regards,Pete
Claymore Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 ...I have one exactly like it...and regard it as original, coming from a very reliable source....the fakes usually don't have such 'sharply' defined rear sides....the detail on the reverse of the originals is every bit as good as the front side......fakes tend to be more 'muddied'...with a lack of well defined detail......I would say this is a good original tinnie.......there is also a 'Stuttgart 1.VII.34' tinnie which is near identical...Regards.
KDVR Posted February 22, 2008 Author Posted February 22, 2008 (edited) Thank you claymoreDo you mind showing your 'Stuttgart 1.VII.34' tinnie to the forum?Best wishesKDVR Edited February 22, 2008 by KDVR
mametz Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Just looking at the pics of your badge and got the one i have out, saw something in your photothat i never noticed before. There is a makers mark on it, on the one i have it,s very faint butlooking with a magnifying glass, it,s Karl Wurster Markneukirchen. You learn something every day!i think the one you have is a good one Regards Mametz
Claymore Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Hi KDVR.......I actually posted my Stuttgart tinnie earlier this evening in the SA tinnie section...Regards.
