Imperial U-Boat Badge.

Third Reich period manufactured ( my guess 1943-44 ) replacement Imperial U-Boat Badge. Typical pin fitting of that period.

Pity about the Zinc base metal's inability to hold the gilt finish, but still a nice striking and I've found these harder to get hold of than the inter-war period gilt brass or tombak pieces.
