Japanese Soldier Photo

My wife's aunt was a US Army nurse in the PI during WWII. She recently died and in going through her old trunk I found this photo of a Japanese Soldier amongs other Japanese soldier photos. Can someone tell me what the description on the backs says?

It says:

Showa 17, January 11th (Showa 17 = 1942)

Kanesawa (Perhaps the city the soldier is from)

Manshu troop 121 Sasaki unit (Manshu = Manchuria)

Tsubaki Unit, Fukada Kazuo (soldiers Name)
