Bundesrepublik Early 57 Versions of Infantry Assault In Bronze & Silver

I've just received these nice early 57 new form versions of the Infantry Assault badge in Bronze and Silver.

As usual, any comments or observations welcomed.

First up, the Bronze IAB.

Silver IAB Front & Rear view. Although it hasn't shown up on the photo, this has very nice polished highlights.

Hi David,

I like them...very much actually. Every time I see early 57 badges like these I grow more fond of them. I only have a couple myself but am always looking for the odd goodun to come along. All a matter of limited money I am afraid. Anyway...I think they are really nice.

Thanks for the comments Phil The early versions of the 57 new form pieces are usually of a good quality and finish. I agree, and am the same as you - the more of the early 57 pieces I see, the more I like them, and at least they are, compared to their WW2 originals, still relatively affordable.
