BG. killed in action in war zone d S. vietnam Nov. 8 1965 sgt Eidson was a Korean war vet and a Brave airborne trooper! I have all of his medals only showing Oficially engraved Bronze star and Purple heart!also recieved Korean service medal w/2 bronze battle stars,army of occupation w/japan clasp,National defense medal w/oakleaf,Vietnam service medal w/1 battle star UN defense medal vietnam cross of gallentry, CIB w/star for korea & vietnam , original CIB sterling ww II korea type, 2 jump wings 1 pin back other post back sterling ,Master jump wing w/2 battle stars patches etc, I think only thing missing is Rep. of vietnam campaign medal all came to me from his step grandson !
