Robert Noss Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Another nice photo from yesterdays fleamarket. This is a "posed" photo-scene made in a studio, but not a postcard.Purpose of this shot is unknown. Maybe a "test-shot" for a postcard ?Photographer's mark from Mei?en.Something in this scene makes me like it, don't know what, but it is nice.Kind regardsRobert
Mike Dwyer Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 Robert,I believe those fellows are from the Kgl.S?chs. Garde-Reiter-Regiment which wore a kornblumenblau coat with white collar and cuffs.
Guest Rick Research Posted July 6, 2008 Posted July 6, 2008 TERRIFIC subject matter-- M?dchens in the barracks while cleaning rifles! If that was NOT the proof photo for a commercial postcard, it is without a doubt the most elaborately posed private photo I've ever seen!
