    Hello friends

Who has some more information about this medal.

    1. Was there an official ribbon to wear it? Please post a picture of a complete one. Thx.

    2. How much is its value?

    Thank you! :jumping:

    Hello KDVR,

Here's one on its ribbon. It's also - like yours - the "Barre" type which is the most common one. The first ones awarded were without an engraver's name and other engravers include E. Falot and F. Sacristain.

    Cheers,

    Hendrik

Hard to say these days as price levels seem to go up (mostly) and down (less often) in a matter of days. I'd say a minimum level of 40 Euros is probably fair as the ribbon is missing.

    Cheers,

    Hendrik

Here is the Mini Version, obtained on the 30th August at a Collectors Fair in Deva, Transylvania. :jumping:

15mm X 15mm (not including the ribbon ring.)

Appears to be made in silver.

Your full-size medal appears to be very good and clean. Take a look at the edge, they are sometimes privately named or identification signs were added.

The miniature has seen a lot of service, but it is not that frequent. Probably a good piece.

So do I , having found one when I was younger and have been using it as a key fob for years I thought I would check if it was the real thing and see if it was of any value.
