    HIS NAME AND RANK IS UNTEROFFIZER GERHARD GERDES ,HE SERVED WITH 3/KAMPFGESCHWADER 100,AND HE WON THE GOBLET ON 6.11.42

    WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR IS ANY INFO ON HIM AND IF ANYONE HAS THREE CITATIONS FOR HIM WHICH ARE, HIS HONOUR GOBLET ,IRON CROSS FIRST CLASS,BOMB BAR IN GOLD,

    I AM SURE THAT THEY ARE OUT THERE SOMEWHERE ?

    ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW WHETHER THE GERMANS KEPT COPYS OF THE CITATIONS AND IF SO WHERE I COULD TRY TO GET COPYS OF THEM FROM

    He is shown as a Bordfunker, Pokal date 16.11.42 (dates often vary several days between award paperwork and actual goblet because of approval versus processing delays) on the roll of the Honor Goblets published back in the 1980s in Germany.

    No hope whatsoever of recovering citations for specific actions that led to awards. The last I knew, the German government spent the reunified 1990s cheerfully incinerating any and all military records that HAD survived, going back as far as WW1 in a blatantly feeble attempt to disguise the fact that the intent was to shield Stasi informers from retribution.
