AlecH Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Hello All, We'd a glorious weather this weekend in South Germany - lots of people up & about. On Saturday I trawled through three different flea-markets in the area picking a number of tinnes - Top row left - 1935 Frei ist the Saar - Top middle - Day Tinnie - Kurmark Guben 1935 -Top right - a rememberance tinnie for 99th Mountain Troop Regiment ( every year usually beginning October there's a church service for fallen soldiers on the Grunten mountain out side Sonthofen) this one is for 1988 (40 years)Bottom row - two stick pins & two tie-pins all belonging to VdH ( Verein der Heimkehrer) which was a association of WW2 German POW's who had returned home. Not sure if the numbers 20-25 denote length of membership time per man or existance time of the association
