Review of 1909 to 1914 Turkish NCO ranks

Onbasi, wear a plain shoulder board.

One band on branch-colour shoulder strap (Cavus).

Two band on branch-colour shoulder strap (Bascavus mu'azini).

Three crosscut bands on branch-colour shoulder strap (Bascavus).

Excuse my ignorance, but are these equivalents - close or exact - to NCO ranks in other armies? For example, is "Obasi" a Private First Class, a Lance/Acting Corporal or a Corporal? And so on.
