lach470 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Hey guys.....haven't posted in a while....sorry 'bout that. Here's my newest acquisition (along with an HJ belt and buckle). This is a '44/'45 made Overhoff SS buckle. Came with a belt that has "supposedly" always been with the buckle. It's not SS marked though - but it is a late war type belt so it could be. Just happy to have found this buckle to add to the collection!Cheers!Rob
lach470 Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 ....forgot to mention that the belt is also period shortened...
lach470 Posted November 3, 2008 Author Posted November 3, 2008 Thanks Ben! She's a keeper! Cheers!Rob

all1knew Posted September 1, 2010 Posted September 1, 2010 Hello there, Is there any reason you would assume the belt hasn't been with that buckle of its life? William Kramer
lach470 Posted September 1, 2010 Author Posted September 1, 2010 I just don't know for sure if the belt was with the buckle since the war. It could have been "paired" since. That happens a lot. It's a late war belt and a late war buckle - so they could be originally together - there's just no way of knowing for sure! Cheers! Rob
